[WT-support] R: monitor & WT

Hi Bob,

yes I’ve been trying to modify $R1R2 to any possible combination without
success, this means that nothing changed.

You are correct! The problem is that it is very difficult to copy a serial
number while having your TX monitor in your headphone. The strange thing is
that this happened after sometime, previously all was correct as the command
string of scenario should do.

Still don’t know if it is a WT problem or MK2 problem because I try to work
on MH router changing some settings but nothing changed.

TNX!

Luca

Luca, I may not understand your message completely, but maybe this will
help.

Select Operating | Modify the Scenarios and select the "Work Multiplier"
scenario.

Note that the $INSERT message ends with $R1R2 for the Primary Radio, which
means after the $INSERT message completes, Rig 1 will be heard in the left
ear and Rig 2 will in the right. This doesn't make any sense to me, since
after you send the $INSERT message you have to start copying the exchange.
Maybe it is OK for CQ WW when the exchange is "easy," but not very good for
other contests.

I'm copying CT1BOH who designed the Win-Test SO2R system to find out if that
is a bug or "working as designed." In the mean time, try changing $R1R2 to
$R1R1 just like all the other messages in that column to see if you like
that better.

Hi

Problem encountered during HA DX

Running WT 4.4 & MK2R+

While on CW using scenario “ work mult” sending a CQ on R1(command $str)
while working stations by R2 all started correctly switching the audio in
headphones.

After a while I start to have R1 TX monitor on side of headphone while
having R2 audio on other side.

Looking at MK2R leds it shows correct switching to headphone (correct means
all audio coming from R2) but immediately it switch one ear to R1.

Scenario was well configured to have all audio from R2 in headphone.

No way to have it correct as I wished!

Anyone found same problem?
