[WT-support] random character ahead of rtty messages

Thanks Bob
Looks as though I had PTT set to a com port in MTTY - setting that to 
NONE would seem to have cleared the problem.
K3 - MKII - PC

Problem existed with MMTTY stand-alone so nothing to do with WT in fact !
