[WT-support] Band map

Bob,

Hi, I really do appreciate your reply. However the situation has changed,
but only a little, since I sent my original email. Before receiving your
email, yesterday I updated the version I am using to ver 3.27.1 (I was using
3.22.1). I can open both the Win-Test cluster windows Alt-O and Alt-A .
Alt-O displays all the incoming spots for all bands including non-contest
bands. Alt-A was only displaying spots from 21/28 MHz. but would be because
I had set the prog up for the RSGB 21/28Mhz contest. It seems that now all
is working as expected. However, when I last used WT I had a list of cluster
nodes in wtDXTelnet but they have all disappeared. I looked on the Home page
of AD1C as I know he produces a list for DX4Win but there is no mention of
WT. Do you know where I can get the list and where I should load it? Also
are there preferred band plans available somewhere? I don't know what I had
set up previously but when I was practising with WT there was no shortage of
spots coming in to the bandmap.

Sorry to bother you. Thanks for your assistance.

By "Cluster Monitor Window", do you mean the one you see with Alt-O:

http://docs.win-test.com/wiki/Menu:Windows#DX-Cluster_Monitor

? If you see activity there, it means wtDxTelnet and Win-Test are
communicating properly.

Win-Test ignores "inappropriate" spots, such as spots that are too old,
spots that are on the wrong band, or spots that are in the wrong sub-band
(e.g., phone spots will not display in the band map for a CW contest). The
sub-bands are defined by the bandplan
<http://docs.win-test.com/wiki/Menu:Options#Bandplans...> . The age of a
spot is defined by your computer's clock, so check that too.

Hi,

I am having a slight difficulty with version 3.22 in that incoming spots are
no longer populating the band map. This used to work FB but I have not used
the prog recently and noticed this when I opened it up yesterday. I have
searched the WIKI but cannot find what did when I first set it up. I am
getting spots coming into the cluster monitor window but they do not
populate the bandmap.

Thanks for any suggestions
