[WT-support] MAP.DTA File Not Found

Steve, yes, that worked. Thanks.
Trying to operate in CQWW CW. Now, WT runs on XP for a while, then crashes.
I'm the WinKeyer USB connected to the PC. Auto keying on WT works for five
minutes, then stops - does not key radio (the paddle does work, as does
WinTest). I go into WT configuration again to reset the keyer, and then the
program crashes. I actually have to reboot to get it to shut down. So, it's
too unreliable to use program keying.
I've tried 4.2 and 4.3 but both crash in this manner.
I've also got an issue with my IC7600 which I run as IC generic because of
the C-IV I'm using. It doesn't control frequency.
Maybe too many things are going on at the same time. Suggestions?
Thanks to all. Bruce K6ZB

That file should be installed in
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Win-Test\cfg\map.dta
(notice the "cfg").
Try installing version 4.2, then reinstall 4.3 to see if that fixes it.
It's possible this file was omitted from the 4.3 build as wtdeu.dll was also
omitted.

I successfully upgraded to v 4.3.0 this morning but it gives the following
error message on startup:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Win-Test\MAP.DTA":FIle not found The map won't be available.
Also, does this upgrade automatically update country and other files? If
not, kindly direct me to the source of updates. I'd like to run this in
CQWW et al.
Note also, that I used PayPal and did not experience any delay for
registration. The instructions indicate that it could talke 3 days, so I'm
not sure what that is about.
Thanks, as always.
