[WT-support] Win-Test does not meet my need!

There is nothing wrong with being honest and factual, is
there Chris?
Wintest should come with a disclaimer saying it is done part
time, and that improvements are unlikely. It is presented as
a professional high end software.

So because wintest is not being developed and things added
that you guys wish it is a poor and bad logging programme.
Have you thought that, as the author said in a earlier post,
this is done in his spare time - NOT like Windose which has
a full team of developers working on it!
If you want to improve something have a go yourself. I know
if I had the knowledge and ability I would certainly offer
it up to try and add features.
As for asking for a refund I just can't believe you have the
cheek. I guess you are also one of the guys who complains
the first day of a major dxpedition that they don't hear you
and they are poor operators because of this!
And the guys who are complaining about the rTTY element.
Wintest was developed as a CW/Phone contest logger, RTTY was
added after there were a few requests for the facility. As a
out and out RTTY engine I find it hard to use, so I use a
programme specifically designed for DATA modes, and I will
then import and convert my log to the contest cabrillo using
another programme - works for me and my contest group.
Maybe it is time that the developers of our programmes, not
just Wintest, started to say sorry guys you want it you
develop it! And leave it at that.
And if any of you don't like my attitude I think you all
need to read what you guys send first.

If we are voicing opinions on it, I think the single worse
choice I made in setting up my new contest station was
committing to the use of Wintest early on. If I had known
the attitude of the author was "take it as it is, it is a
part time thing for me" I never would have started with it.
