I am sorry to agree that Win-Test does not meet any minimal contesting needs. The support is completely unsatisfactory. I have pointed out that in Bandmaps properties window "When leaving the Operating Frequency, automagically:" should be spelled as "automatically".
I have wasted countless hours trying to figure out what is so magical about this particular process. That has definitely lowered my rate in contest and my health has deteriorated severely from this constant confusion and despair. In anger I broke one of my transceivers once with a large hammer.
I have only got vague comments if any on that issue from the developers who do not seem to care. When I bought the program then nobody warned my about this serious flaw!
Thus I want to get my money back with interest (40% pa given the liquidity crises worldwide) and I will proceed to claim the damages though court to compensate for low contest results, loss of health and broken equipment. I estimate those in the order of 2.4 million Euros.

Subject: [WT-support] Win-Test does not meet my need!
Importance: High
Hi Larry,
Win-Test does not meet my minimal amateur radio contest software needs in
its current version. This program does not perform as advertised in the
features section of the Win-Test website. Developers of this software
appear to not have any plans to correct the current problems in the near
future. Two specific examples of Win-Test not living up to its advertised
features are RTTY performance and Cabrillo performance. Since it doesn't
meet my minimal needs and advertised features I WANT A REFUND OF MY 45
EUROs. Please send me a refund through PayPal as soon as possible.
Quotes from you:
RTTY - As a convenience, not a feature: I rather say it would be VERY LOW
on our priorities of dvpt. You must know that RTTY has been added on
Win-Test more for convenience of users who were using it for CW and Phone
contesting. We added the majors RTTY contests (CQWW, WPX, WAE) and some
others, but we never claimed Win-Test to be the best RTTY logger ever.
Despite many users won their categories in these contests with it ;-) They
accepted the unacceptable, you see...
Cabrillo - on having to manually edit file: I always thought (and Olivier
too, as he wrote this part of the code), that this Cabrillo line had to be
filled with the State (or DX). I see it can be different for some ARRL
sections. So, yes, for now, you have to fill it manually (read : edit the
Cabrillo file).
