[WT-support] Function Key Failure

After a lot of hassle with AVG I finally got WT 4.0.3 installed and working, except that the F1, F2 etc Keys when pressed, only produced the first Character in the CW message, i.e F1 = CQ CQ de G4GIR K  all that was produced was C.

Has anyone come across the cure for this??? Windows 7 OS here.

All is ok with VISTA.
