Hi Ben (et al)
As a avid contester who has been running IOTA since it's conception back in
the 90's, this problem has been with us. It's been one big headache for all
everyone, you cannot blame guys for Harkin on about it. Myself and a whole
bunch of contesters would very much like the WT software gang can sort this
one out for run / Mult contests.....somehow, and BOMB PROOF!! after all ,
they are intelligent people who have put a great package together in WT.

The problem with work round's is it also causes problems especially if you
have novice or inexperienced guys put on the Mult stn............AS YOU
DO!!!
Perhaps if one keyboard action does not work another will. Anyway, I don't
think the WT hierarchy have actually said ..........sorry, it can't be
done!!
Maybe to bed, maybe, but isn't forgotten!!

We used WT in the IOTA running M/S with over 2000 QSOs and had
absolutely no problem. Yes, you have to be careful and yes it would
be easier if we could have serial numbers per band. But we haven't
so we got to work our way around it. One practical way was suggested
and it worked well for us.

Next, Larry, F6FVY, explained very thoroughly that a number reserve
feature does not really solve this problem but produces other,
new problems.

So please let's move on to real problems and not keep banging
the same old drum. There is no question that WT is very popular
these days, even for contesters doing IOTA.
