Use pin 14 and GND on pin 25 of the LPT port on EZMASTER but it does not do
the same what shift and caps lock does (focus on secondary radio). It just
TX on Radio2.
Does anybody use this option (the second footswitch binds to the secondary
radio) and Ezmaster succesfuly??
Thanks,

Hi Dani
Many years ago, CT did not have have SO2R support. I then called K1EA on the
phone ans asked him to develop SO2R support.
I sent him the specs, and "the new thing" was automatic focus into radio2,
when radio1 was transmitting. So I can be called the father of that issue...
With real contest use, timing as N6TV says, was indeed an issue and extra
concentration was needed not to write into radio1 field waht was supposed to
go into radio2.
When I was discussing SO2R specs with F5MZN, the automatic focus was
dropped, and out of the discussion we have the two options that are
supported today - Shift and Caps Loc bind, with footswitch control.
With three experiences (WT and CT and TR), I can tell you that the way WT
uses the Shift (and the Caps) to bind to the second radio is probably the
most efficient way to control the typing into radio2 in a SO2R setup.

As far as I know, there is no way to automatically move the cursor or focus
to the Radio 2 window when you start CQing on Radio 1, and then have the
focus return to Radio1 after the CQ is finished, if that is what what you
are asking.
While CTWin does SO2R this way, I don't think people like it very much,
since it's easy to accidentally type partial call signs in the wrong window,
unless you're typing is perfectly timed with your CQs.

It can be that in the menu operating the option exists where the focus of
the writing in the secondary radio was automatic.
Without necessity of pressing the keys of Shift binds or Caps lock binds?
