Hi Dani

Many years ago, CT did not have have SO2R support. I then called K1EA on the
phone ans asked him to develop SO2R support.
I sent him the specs, and "the new thing" was automatic focus into radio2,
when radio1 was transmitting. So I can be called the father of that issue...

With real contest use, timing as N6TV says, was indeed an issue and extra
concentration was needed not to write into radio1 field waht was supposed to
go into radio2.

When I was discussing SO2R specs with F5MZN, the automatic focus was
dropped, and out of the discussion we have the two options that are
supported today - Shift and Caps Loc bind, with footswitch control.

With three experiences (WT and CT and TR), I can tell you that the way WT
uses the Shift (and the Caps) to bind to the second radio is probably the
most efficient way to control the typing into radio2 in a SO2R setup.
