[WT-support] Bandmap with 2 VFO's

John,
Do you see the word "Split" at the top of the band map window, as shown in
the attachment?
You can accidentally get into split mode if you press the [-] (minus) key
and enter a frequency, or if you accidentally click on the VFO B window with
the mouse.

To exit split mode, press [-] [Enter], or type the NOSPLIT text command in
the callsign window. Does that fix it?

On the FT-1000MP, "split mode" and "dual receive" mode should be two
different things. Dual receive mode should be unaffected by this; I think
Win-Test will always center the band map on VFO A.

I no longer have my FT-1000MPs handy to check this (I swapped them for two
Elecraft K3s without SubRxs yet), but I think this is the way it is supposed
to work.

For SO2V operating, we really need a little enhancement to Win-Test to
enable Ctrl-S to "Swap VFOs" instead of "Swap radios". Frankly, I think
"Swap Radios" is really DANGEROUS if you don't have an auto-tune amplifier
and automatic antenna switching. If you accidentally press Ctrl-S, you
could easily tune your radio to the wrong band and transmit full power into
your amplifier or the wrong antenna. It's really easy to accidentally do
this if you are also using [AltGr-S] or [Ctrl-Alt-S] a lot to enable stereo
receive mode.

You can disable [Ctrl-S] by typing DEFINEKEYS and mapping it to a "do
nothing" key like [(] or a "stop sending" key like [Escape].

Bob, N6TV
