[WT-support] TO5DX, TO8Z, TO4X not scoring correctly

Hi Patrick

All problems solved when I used the latest version of WT.

In fact, I went armed with the new Master.DTA, and the CTY.ZIP file; but not
a full update (I think at 6Y1V they had installed v19; I had v18 here )

for some reason, after unzipping the CTY files; I never saw the updated F5IN
one; which I didn't know anyway that Jim had taken on. We tried to download
it before the test; but we had problems at the shack, that meant our
internet only came live at the start of the contest.

Your list is a good Check list, Patrick; I may keep this for future
reference!

  no problem at all here, 9A1P used always the last version of data files,
downloaded b4 the contest from AD1C country files page.

  B4 the contest, do this:
  1. download CTY.zip file from AD1C
  2. download master.dta from K5ZD
  3. download VE3NEA master editor
  4. add NG3K CQWW SSB/CW ann. into VE3NEA master editor, create new update
master.dta ... scp...files
  5. copy all this files into WT directory.
  6. Use CTY_WT_MOD file (country files menu into WT) reload the log.
  7. READ THE MANUAL!!!!!!!

    Thanks Wayne & Dave; Wayne gets the prize.

    RELOADNOW did nothing;   I used update 3.22 which I had eh email for ;
that scores all perfectly !

    (I corrected my heading as well - TO4X !!)

       Went through this scenario yesterday, I was using Wt 3.16 and no
mater how many times I reloaded  the New DATA files CTY_WT.DAT or
CY_MOD.DAT.  and re loaded the CQSSB log, it still would not recognize TO4,
TO5 and TO8 prefixes . It was suggested I up grade to the newer version 3.23
. which I did and BINGO. after reloading the new CTY WT DAT files.. TO5.TO4
and TO8  were scored correctly.

      PS  Having corrupted files B-4 during and Versions upgrade from
previous Contest logging software. I was gun shy and made copies of the LOG
just in case.. But alas my fears were in Vain and WT came through with
flying colors and the upgrade  was seamless.  :)
