It works for me.

I just created a test log and entered as VE2RAC (as RAC HQ).

A Q with VE2QQ (z 4) gives me 1 pt
A Q with VE3QQ (z 5) gives me 3 pts
A Q with TM0HQ (REF) gives me 1 pt
A Q with F6FVY (27) gives me 5 pts

Nothing wrong AFAIK.
