Re: RSGB IOTA Contest

Thank you to Philippe (F6IFY) for his comment on my IOTA idea. However, he
has not really understood the feature which (I think) would be useful!

Here is a scenario: in the IOTA Contest, I am called by TK0XX, a weak
signal. He is not in my SCP, so what is his IOTA reference? There are 4
possible answers: EU014, EU100, EU104 or EU164. If I have a Win-test IOTA
window which lists these possibilities, my life is much easier, because I
only have to choose from 4 options!

Next I am called by DL0XXX, also weak. My Win-test IOTA window shows me
that IOTA references for Germany can be: NONE, EU042, EU047, EU057, EU098,
EU127, EU128 or EU129. This is very useful.

Finally, I do some S&P, and discover 5A0XX. My geography is bad -- is it
possible that he has an IOTA reference? No, My Win-test IOTA window
indicates "NONE", so I can find another station to call.

As far as I know, the SD software is the only one to have this feature, but
it seems to me a good addition to the software. What do the other Win-test
users think?
