Hi.
A couple of issues noticed in WAE CW.
1) This happened several times with 2nd radio qsos:
ie.
QSO: 7026 CW 2007-08-12 0408 4O3A 599 0571 W2OO 599 087
QSO: 14000 CW 2007-08-12 0410 4O3A 599 0574 RX0QA 599 121
QSO: 7026 CW 2007-08-12 0415 4O3A 599 0573 N4QS 599 032
QSO: 7026 CW 2007-08-12 0416 4O3A 599 0574 K5WQG 599 026
Serial nr. 572 is skipped and the qso is logged as 574 (RX0QA). Can it be a
wrong timing when I typed calls into the secondary radio window and get them
logged (WT shouldn't "take" a number until the qso is logged as in Multi-op
environment) or is it a WT fault?
2) Weird behaviour:
QSO: 14021 CW 2007-08-12 2054 4O3A 599 0756 VE3KZ 599 085
QSO: 3500 CW 2007-08-12 2100 4O3A 599 0757 XX9TJS 599 000
QSO: 14021 CW 2007-08-12 2103 4O3A 599 0758 N7RO 599 005
QSO: 3500 CW 2007-08-12 2100 4O3A 599 0758 XX9TJS 599 000
this is the duplicated qso. Same line, duplicated 257 times!
Just after I logged XX9TJS it started to duplicate the qso with serial nr.
758 for 257 times. Phew, it stopped.... :-)
In the cabrillo file QTCs taken between 19.32z and 21z were moved before the
duplicating qsos. All the qsos made between 19.32z and 21z were moved after
the duplicated qsos group.
WT also shows a wrong off time between 19.32z and 21z!
Weird behaviour! Let me know if you need the full log to work around it. I
will send it privately.
3) Feature request: would be nice to have in the band map (being WAE a
cluster legalized contest) the option to display the dupe qsos from which
you still need some QTCs without having a crowded list with all invalid ones
(Europeans) and the non-Eu dupes from which you already took the 10 QTCs.
Actually you can check mults only, new qsos, potential qtcs for new
qsos/mults, or show them all (invalid and dupes with 10qtcs already taken).
In other words it would be nice to have the so called "potential QTCs"
option showing both new qsos and dupes from which you 're still looking for
QTCs.
