Tom,
I can't say that I understand exactly what you need, but could you use any
of the documented printer port pins for this? See
http://docs.win-test.com/wiki/Menu:Options#Printer_Ports
For example, pin 16 (PTT) is held down for as long as Win-Test has queued
data to send.
