Subject: UDP Network error #2 GPRS conf.


 Hi WT Users!
 I experienced same problem like Gerald, OE2GEN (see below) with WT/WtDxTelnet
 trying to use it outside the city over GPRS connection.
 It seems be strange: services such as e-mail, browser, ftp working well.
 
 But no spots over wtDxTelnet with strange message:
 Ethernet: ERROR sending UDP protocol #10065, no connection.
 
 Any standard manipulation with mask and broadcast do nothing.
 GPRS is defined with static 2 DNS servers and dynamic IP.
 ..........................
 the day after...............
 Default gateway searching alghorithm in wtDxTelnet in this case is probably wrong.
 Quite different default broadcast address between Wt and wtDxTelnet,
 eg, wtDxTelnet broadcast defaul:  10.242.152.117
       WT broadcast default:            10.255.255.255
 on the sane GPRS connection:

 wtDxTenet:                 10.255.255.255
 WT:                            10.255.255.255
 
 or
 127.255.255.255
 127.255.255.255

 Hello!
 Scenario!
 Network with 5 machines are runnig well, all inputs are right on all other machines!
 If I connect via Telnet the cluster I receive the following error messages!

> Start first Telnet  ==> "error opening UDP socket # 10013"
> 
> Start first WT ==> "Ethernet: error sending UDP protocol # 10065"
> 
> NOW!
> All machines are connected via CAT5. RJ45, Telnet and so on is running all Cluster Messages received on all machines!
> If one machine is connected via WLAN to the Internet, receive this messages, or connected via HighSpeed UMTS by
> Phonecard (HSDPA)!
> No ohther process is running on PORT 9871!
> If I changed the Port-Number to other one eq. 9872 and so on, allways the same error-message!
> Only one process have the port-number, if I start WT first it's WT or Telnet is first, than Telnet!
> On Network with CAT5. RJ45, both Processes has the same port-number, like 9871!
> 
> ... all machines are on the same Network, same Port-number and so on!
