Gordon,

You must configure both Win-Test and WtDxTelnet as follows:

	Broadcast IP Address: 127.255.255.255

In other way, the traffic received by WtDxTelnet from your cluster, will be
again re-send via the GPRS network, and will cause a traffic overload on
your GPRS Link. Maybe O2 filter this UDP traffic and causes it to not be
received on WT....

127.255.255.255 is a loopback address for internal comunications at the same
computer, and I have just tested, to assure it works.

Well, test it and let us know.... but it shoudl work!

Asunto: [WT-support] Wintest - Telnet with via GPRS connected

I have been testing successfully connection via GPRS for when operating
portable. It connects fine and the wtDxTelnet client also connects and
downloads fine. However, I cannot get it to talk to Wintest any more. I
have looked at the Wiki and it doesn't cover this circumstance.
I am using an XP laptop and connecting via GPRS to O2 network. I get
address via IP and accordin to IPCONFIG, my assigned address is
10.226.238.93 on a subnet of 255.255.255.255. I go to both Win-Test and
the telnet client Network properties and click default button. It then
changes the broadcast address to 10.226.238.255. However, no data streams
into the cluster in the client, although the Telnet client is working
fine.
If I try to ping 10.226.238.255, I get no reply.
Wonder if you can help please?
Thanks
Gordon
