Actually, the log position has been specially designed to reduce eyes 
and head movements while contesting to avoid pain and fatigue at most, 
especially if you can't type "blindly" (like me :-( ). Just to inform 
you why the major contest loggers had entry fields in the lower part of 
the screen.

If you want to move the log around, use the "floating mode" for the 
windows (Options menu), reduce the size of the main wnd as you want, and 
move it where you want.
