Objet : [WT-support] Icom SPLIT problem
Hi -
I have been reported that split mode is still not correctly set by WT
onto Icom radios with double VFO.
Although I have no reason not to trust that report I wonder if it is
specific to a specific setting or if all of the Icom owners can repeat
the same problem. Because one of the biggest contest event is close to
today I don't want to introduce any bug in, and your reports will be
very appreciated!
Here is the scenario (as far as I understood):
- Mode is CW (don't know if SSB is affected)
- A callsign is entered manually in the bandmap, with the Icom radio in
split mode
- Both VFO's are changed to a different frequency on the radio, and
split is disabled (not manually, but through WT)
- Double-clicking on the callsign previously entered in the bandmap
moves the VFOs and activate split mode on the radio, *but* the frequency
that was put into the B-VFO should have been put into the A-VFO and
vice-versa.
I don't know if entering split mode using the minus (-) key is also
affected.
Thanks in anticipation to all double VFO Icom owners for your reports!
