I noticed this as well !

But it only seemed to happen when using a non-standard sequence of function 
keys. For example:

I've changed the incoming call after sending the exchange and accidentally 
hit enter to log.  I then had to hit f4 to confirm the corrected call, and 
then the "+" key to send TU etc. Sometimes when I hit the "+" key it sends 
and "A" before the tu.
