[WT-support] Problem telnet not working with program

Hello just got win-test 3.5. Trying to use telnet with program can not get  
telnet to comunicate with win-test. when using connect with AL"T" I can see the 
 Connect in the ALT"O" box but a quick look at Telnet, I am not connected. 
What  settings must I be at?
