[WT-support] (2 Attempt) DARC VHF/UHF and up Contest

Hallo Alfred,

there is a small discussion going on in the Win-Test reflector as to
Win-Test's support of the DARC VHF/UHF contests.

Ben, DL6RAI, pointed out that you may have problems with the files
created by Win-Test. Win-Test offers the following contests for
VHF/UHF:

IARU VHF
IARU UHF
IARU VHF CW
European V/UHF - No Mults
European VUHF - Mults = Gridsquares
etc. etc.

On the assumption that IARU VHF should be using the correct rules, I
have created a small log (VHF_TestLog.TXT, VHF_TestLog.SUM,
VHF_TestLog.LOG, VHF_TestLog.144_MHz.EDI), and would like to ask you
if you can use the files it created and if anything is missing? Also
which format would be the best for the DARC VHF/UHF/SHF contests?

I hope you do not mind me writing in English, because I am sending
this CC to the Win-Test crew and the reflector.

Eine Frage könnte sein, ob DL9GS mit dem Output-Format von Win-Test
einverstanden ist. Mit Cabrillo kann er z.B. sicher nichts anfangen,
denn er braucht ja ein ausgewertetes Log. Wäre mal eine Anfrage dort
wert. Schick ihm doch mal ein Sample-Log und frag, ob er damit
grundsätzlich zurecht käme.

Hi Larry,

the rules in German can be found at
http://www.darc.de/referate/ukw-funksport/ukw/tei-ukw.htm. I did not
find an English or French version of the rules.

The DARC writes that these rules are also for the IARU Region I
contests. So I don't think that there is any real difference to the
IARU/European standard for VHF/UHF/SHF.

But I might be wrong.
