[WT-support] wt2steppIR integration: another solution

Dear all,

just to let you know that I have just posted another solution for
integrating the SteppIR antenna with win-test and CAT control. WT already
supports the well known "Y-cable" tranceiver mode.

The advantage of the new method is that it in addition to sending the
correct frequency to the steppIR controller, it also (polls and) senses when
the antenna motors are moving (ie tuning) and switches the DTR line (pin 4)
as high. This means that it is possible with a simple circuit to disable the
amplifier from being keyed during tuning and minimize accidental equipment
damage.

The disadvantage is that you need a dedicated serial port.

I am grateful to G3BJ for the encouragement and debugging during CQWW CW. I
am told it works well, although there may be a 1-2s delay before the PTT
inhibit is activated. Hopefully, this method will be incorporated into WT in
the future.
