[WT-support] SO2R

Hi Filipe

You have to tame your frustration....

:-))

Anyway the problem is not with Win-Test, the problem is is old generation
SO2R control boxes.

WX0B SO2R is a stand alone product. You cannot control it from the computer,
no matter if you use Win-Test, CT or any other logger. Some years ago I did
8000 plus QSOs on CW from P40E using CT and WX0B. For every single QSO I had
to manually use WX0B rotary switch to manually change the audio settings of
the headphones. You should have seen my fingers after the contest. Also with
fatigue I sometimes would not change the settings, thus not being totally
SO2R efficient. Now with Win-test all the audio settings move automatically.

Win-test enables the user to control the audio settings of the headphones
directly from the keyboard (manually), or with macros (automatically),
depending of the moment of the QSO, using the scenarios. But to do that the
SO2R control boxes needs to be able to communicate with the program.
EZmaster can communicate with the program because it is a new generation
SO2R box.

But Win-Test is not only for advanced SO2R. Going back to CT is like going
back to 1986 DOS world. For sure you want to be in 2006 world, but of course
that is only my educated guess....
