You probably have to redefine the keys so that you don't need to keep 
the CAPS lock enabled to get the digits active. In example, with a 
french keyboard, we usually redine the keyboard that way: &=1, é=2, "=3, 
... ç=9, à=0

Then, SHIFT+&, SHIFT+é, ... will works with the secondary radio as well.
