Let me try to clear this a bit more...

I understand that difference between SO2R and SO2R advanced
mode is audio swiching and possibility to use scenarios. Did I
get this correctly?

If we look only the function "send DVK message 1 to inactive
radio (ie radio B)" and we do it by pressing shift and F1
at the same time, why software needs to know when message ends?

On the other hand, I can send the DVK 1 message to radio B,
but I just have to told twice WT to do it. 1st hit to shift + 
F1 will just make radio B TX go on for a very short time (like
aprox 300ms) and 2nd time same command works just fine.

ZS4TX does tell when the transmission is over, without this
feature alternative CQ would not work. I know that MFJ
voice keyers don't give end of message information to
SW, but ZS4TX does. That's one reason changing MFJ keyer and
WX0B SO2R device to ZS4TX super combo keyer.

So the situation when I work a multiplier with radio B while
running my own pileup with radio A goes like:
- Call mult: shift + F4, shift + F4 -> my call sent once 
- TX stays on B radio just like it should and I'll send exchange: shift + F2 or just pressing ptt and talking
- Getting back to my own pileup: F1 + F1 -> CQ sent once

With the SO2R advanced mode, it is necessary that the hardware tells the 
software when the transmission of the recorded message goes off. As far 
as I know, the only interface which has this capability today on the 
marker is the EZMaster.

If you want to you use the ZS4TX with its integrated voice keyer, the 
only way is the "SO2R" mode (not the "Advanced SO2R" mode). In "SO2R" 
mode, the "Headphone Latch" mode (=listen the secondary radio during 
transmit) in the "Operating" menu would feed your needs.
