Bonjour Olivier
since this morning I have EZMaster running and I quickly tried to figure out
the Win-Key issue.
EZMaster v1.35 and WT 2.20.
EZMaster properties: Enable WinKey ticked.
WinKey porperties:
Iambic A
PTT
375 Hz
Short spaces: unticked
Paddle watchdog: ticked
Autospaces: unticked
Independant speed between pot and comp: ticked.
For simplicity reasons I removed all ++/-- in the messages.
With ALT F9/F10 I set the speed to 40. The same the pot.
rate window shows: CW 40/40 WPM S
- press F1 and it keys as 40 WPM
- key with the paddle which sound more like 30 WPM than 40.
- while keying with the paddle press ALT F9 a few times and then ALT F10
until I read CW 40/40 WPM S
- now both are at the same speed.
- I assume that the first 40 is bound to ALT F9/F10 and the 2nd 40 to the
pot.
- Hit F1 to launch a CQ and during tranmission the turn the pot down to 30.
tx-ed CW goes down to 30.
- Hit another F1 and speed is at 40 again.
- put pot back to 40 (CW 40/40 WPM) and key with the paddle. it still keys
at 30 WPM although showing 40.
- hit F1 again and now this one is at 30 WPM as well.
- how to get both back to 40/40 is a challenge. Hit F1 twice brings the
first number back to 40 but not the paddle.
What I don't understand yet which speed is applied when (1st 40 vs 2nd 40)
and what happens if you turn the pot while F1 message is sent. I get the
feeling that when you have CW 40/30 WPM that the 10 WPM delta are deducted
from the speed some times but I couldn't nail down when and how exactly.
Another thing. Press F1, decrease the speed with the pot while keying. Then
key with the paddle and finally hit F1 again. This last F1 message will not
be transmitted. Press ESC and F1 does the trick.
hope this helps a bit.
