Which version of the tunnel server did you use ? I had found a few bugs in
the version of two years ago that I believe got fixed already last year.
Our tunnel server ran through, without a single crash.
My info is, that we used the latest version. You and OE9WLJ found some
problems 2 years ago.
During tests 1 week before the contest, about 15min, 10 stations in the
network, logging of around 1000 QSOs no crash.
But in the contest after 5-10min.

You had logsync enabled ? Well, we found that having logsync enabled
causes too much traffic, especially bursty traffic. That traffic burst
overflowed the send buffers and caused disconnection of the user
(or, in the old tunnel server version, a hang of the tunnel server due
to a bug).
All our computers had logsync enabled, I think about 20 PCs. My Info is that
for a synchronisation you have to switch logsync on, otherwise no QSO will
be sent to the other stations, is that not correct???
So when you disables, what effect do you have then?
I'd really be interested in hearing what the plans are etc. I realize that
likely next week there will be WinTest 4.0.
If possible I would hear at least a hint on if there will be much change
vs. the latest nightly builds, in particular if we can deploy and test
the server structure for HQ now ? (many of our stations will eg. start
station setup/tryout this weekend...)
