Hello Dieter,

I am now somewhat surprised, given our prior discussions.

At DA0HQ, we again had all our band stations - plus plenty backup computers -
on the net, without any tunnel crash at all.
We didnt use Bridgehead, only local sync, and other than a few really short
outages of some stations everything was flawless. As far as I am currently
being told, QSO counts only differ in the last digit.

I am somewhat curious about your reported crashes. The only thing likely
is that your server runs BSD, not Linux. Did you get around using the
script I sent you, with the ulimit -c ? Were any core files produced that
could be analyzed on where the problem was ?

Ouch. I havent seen this feature. Larry, does it exist? If so, I consider this
a pretty serious bug. Possibly faked self spots being bad enough, this causing
the station net to go down has some pretty nasty Denial-Of-Service potential.

73s,

Mario
