Hi
RSGB testing of the wtTunnel and wtServer arrangements is continuing.
I was looking at a previous posting regarding some of the problems experienced last year: http://www.f5mzn.org/pipermail/support/2006-July/071632.html
Can I ask some questions please?
Referring to the following statements:
> 3) DA0HQ had an impressive network of 30 or so stations altogether.
> Unfortunately after an hour into the contest We had to disable the
> sync feature because traffic/CPU usage got too high on the server.
>Yep. We also got some problems @ TM0HQ. It finally worked so-so with
>some work on the network (several bridged servers), but it has to be
>optimized in such a configuration (many stns, several thousands of Q,
>and limited bandwidth).
Questions:
1. What bandwidth was being used for the internet connection at the TM0HQ server? (Oliver/Larry - maybe you know?)
2. What bandwidth was being used for the internet connection at the DA0HQ server? (any Germans present? DL1MGB maybe?)
3. Larry - you mentioned that you bridged several servers. What technique did you use to do this please?
Thanks in advance!
John G4IRN.
