Tom,
I believe that what you are reporting is the same as in the following previous postings:
http://www.f5mzn.org/pipermail/support/2007-November/075053.html - G3BJ (G5W)
http://www.f5mzn.org/pipermail/support/2007-November/075070.html - G4IRN (3X5A)
http://www.f5mzn.org/pipermail/support/2007-November/075088.html - F5MZN (TM2Y)http://www.f5mzn.org/pipermail/support/2008-January/075294.html - G4IRN
... and reported informally to me by others.
No word from the developers yet on when it might be fixed.
John G4IRN.
I am using WT with a MK2R and XP Home. During the FOC Marathon it was almost
comical to listen to the CW speed change on its own as exchanges were being
sent. It was also very annoying. I minimized the problem by removing all the
+++ and --- from the messages. That seemed to help a lot, but there were
still discrepancies between the speed indicated on WT, the speed of CW from the
paddle and speed of CW from the keyboard. I also noticed that in the MicroHam
Router CW/WinKey screen that the pot speed and CW speed differed by as much
as 10 WPM. Is there a fix in our future? Is WinKey or WinTest the problem?
I still have an anomaly in the MicroHam Router. Every time I re-boot the
router comes up with ?none? in the WinKey Port window. Although the button is
already green, If I select the profile, it opens the correct COM port.
