Hi

Plese post rather on the wt4hq miling list. You will have better support on.

Indeed.

Right. Only one "wtTunnel" is required on each LAN.

No problem so far.

Indeed.

Yes. Actually, it is not an IP address but the "broadcast address for
the network". It depends on the network IP and netmask:

192.168.5.0 address network
255.255.255.0	netmask
----------------------------------
192.168.5.255	this will be the broadcast address

You can of course have different LAN settings on each locations.

At this step, that is correct.

No.

> - Do I have to start the WTtunnel software on the server PC ?

No, don't do that except if the server is located in one of the location
you will operate from.

> - Do I have to start the tunnel software also on one of the PCs
> in the network where the server is in ?!

Same as above.

Actually, it doesn't matter where the server is located. Just keep in
mind that you need *one* wtTunnel "client" running in the LAN of each
locations. That's all.

> - What info/data has to be put in the WTtunnel ? Especially the

Nothing more than:

  - the "server fqdn" (dh5hv.dyndns.org), port, login and password.
These informations will be the same for *everybody*.

  - the "LAN* configuration, which can be different for every locations.

There is a bug in wtTunnelSrv which can crash when a client disconnects.
I'll fix this soon.

On the firewall site (assuming wtTunnelSrc is listening port 10368):

  - from any location, the port 10368/TCP must be opened for *outgoing*
connections. This is usually the case by default, so you will have
nothing to do.

  - for the server : 10368/TCP must be opened so that it can be
reachable from internet. You will probably have to configure your ADSL
router.

To test if the server is running OK, you can just telnet it:

# telnet dh5hv.dyndns.org 10368

This must work from anywhere in the world! :)
