Hi,
I am testing the newest 3.0.1-wrtc from today.
I still have the Ctrl-S and Frequency Problem.

=========================================
::: BUT IT LOOKS VERY MUCH THE SAME :::
=========================================
Here is the Setup:
Radio-A = FT-1000MP Mark V
Radio-B = FT-1000MP (old)
The 700 Hz problem is specifically related to the new Mark V !
On the old FT-1000MP it does not matter, what band or frequency
you are on - whenever you push a button to change the MODE from
LSB to USB or CW/U or CW/L or AM or FM or RTTY:
---> the frequency reading STAYS THE SAME all the time.
On the new FT-1000MP Mark V, when you are doing the same,
---> the frequency reading *CHANGES* with a different mode,
---> for example:
---> You start at reading 14.100.00 USB
---> You change from USB to LSB (and back): still 14.100.00 OK
---> You change from USB to CW/U: reading is 14.100.70
---> You change back from CW/U to USB: reading 14.100.00 OK
---> You change to CW/L: reading is 14.099.30
---> You change back from CW/L to USB: reading 14.100.00 OK
==============================================
::: PROBLEM COMES UP ONLY WHEN ONE RADIO :::
::: IS IN SSB AND ONE RADIO IN CW :::
==============================================
Examples:
Radio-A (Mark V) is on 14.200.00 USB
Radio-B (old ) is on 21.200.00 USB => Ctrl-S is OK
Radio-A (Mark V) is on 14.200.00 USB
Radio-B (old ) is on 7.050.00 LSB => Ctrl-S is OK
Radio-A (Mark V) is on 14.010.00 CW/U
Radio-B (old ) is on 7.010.00 CW/U => Ctrl-S is OK
Problems:
=========
Radio-A (Mark V) is on 14.200.00 USB
Radio-B (old ) is on 7.010.00 CW/U => Problem:
Press Ctrl-S:
Radio-A (Mark V) is now on 7.010.70 CW/U
Radio-B (old ) is now on 14.200.00 USB
Press Ctrl-S one more time:
Radio-A (Mark V) is now on 14.199.30 USB
Radio-B (old ) is now on 7.010.70 CW/U
Press Ctrl-S one more time again:
Radio-A (Mark V) is now on 7.011.40 CW/U
Radio-B (old ) is now on 14.199.30 USB
Which means that the old FT-1000MP is taking over the
frequency correctly, while IMPORTING a frequency into
the new FT-1000MP Mark V either increases or deducts
700 Hz depending on the mode.
======================================================
A workaround could be creating a new radio scheme
"FT-1000MP Mark V", which is sending an additional
frequency correction by 700 Hz, if the "different mode
condition" is met... :-(
======================================================
I have checked if you could change the FT-1000MP Mark V
behaviour by a menu setting, but failed so far.
On the other hand it is useless to just change the
DISPLAY OFFSET setting, because the frequency READINGS
are correct - related to the AF audio output...
Hope this helps...
