<br>
<br>
During Ukrainian DX Contest the following ideas for an enhancement
of the Announce and Band Map windows came to my mind (again):
<br>
<br>
a) Create an option for the Announce window, where Op-entered
spots (~) become sticky and remain at the bottom of the window,
while incoming cluster spots wander out of the focus when new ones
arrive. Background: With the high volume of spots of today,
Op-entered spots are lost from the operator's view very quickly.
With this option, they would be more meaningful again.
<br>
<br>
b) Create a new color for "high value QSOs". In UKDXC Ukrainian
stations are worth 10 points, while EU only counts 2 and DX 3
points. Strategically, you are looking for the low hanging fruits
first. Wouldn't it be great if the high value QSOs would stand out
in the Announce Window and in the Band Map?
<br>
<br>
c) Create an additional sort option in the textual band map to
sort the band map (list) by QSO value, with the high value QSOs on
the top. Multipliers first, then high value QSOs, then low value,
then zero value.
<br>
<br>
Not sure if this is feasible but I think it would be helpful for
my style of operating (much S&P). What do you think?
