<div dir="ltr">Guys, the way it works now may be OK. Is there a new requirement that the Cabrillo file show the TX frequency? I am not aware of anyone being disqualified based on "out of band operation" based solely on the frequency logged in the Cabrillo file.<div><br></div><div>I think the log checkers may actually prefer that you log the frequency of the DX, not of your TX. It allows them to correlate packet spots to QSOs more easily, to catch packet cheaters (people who enter as "unassisted" even though they are using a spotting network).<div><br></div><div>Think of it as Win-Test logging the frequency of the callsign on that line in the log.</div><div><br></div><div>Also, some rigs like the K3 let you listen on A, TX on B (SPLIT), or listen on B, TX on A (SUB). Which frequency should be logged? It's kind of a complicated question, but just always logging VFO-A seems like the simplest solution with no real problems caused (since it has always been like this).<br><div class="gmail_extra"><br clear="all"><div><div class="gmail_signature">73,<div>Bob, N6TV</div></div></div>
