So if you're on a Windows 7 machine and you can plug a mic. <i>and</i> headphones into the same sound card and listen to your own mic. audio without any audio delays at all, I would like to know exactly what type of sound card and what Windows device settings you are using, because I have never seen a Windows 7 system where that worked (Windows XP is not a problem).</div>
<div><br></div><div>If you install a KDVR3 voice keyer module into the K3s, you can use <a href="http://bit.ly/wtscripts">my K3 scripts</a> (K3scripts.zip) to run that DVK from Win-test, bypassing the Windows sound cards completely. But you can only record two banks of voice messages, so recording one CQ per operator would be somewhat less practical.</div>

Please provide details of how you are using Win-Test for voice keying and CW generation. I assume you are plugging your mic. into the sound card and using Windows XP. When you change from SSB to CW and then back, you must hit F1 to call an automated CQ before the live mic works. It also manifests itself when going to cw and you try to use Alt-K, nothing happens when you type. If you hit F1 to call an automated CQ on cw then hit ESC right away, ALT-K works fine then. Does anyone know a work around for this? This is the only issue we’ve had with Win-test in the last several years, the program has become a VERY stable product, THANKS LAURENT!!!!!<u></u><u></u></p>
