That was because the laptop did not have a true LPT parallel port. I now have a Windows 7 Dell Desktop, model XPS 8500, and installed a PCI Express card with the parallel port.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Again, I cannot get WinTest to select the radio. The radios are an IC7600 and IC7000, which are controlled by WinTest through CI-V. This aspect of control works fine. The LPT port shows up in the Device Manager as LPT3 and the port numbers begin at D010.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I had to reinstall that little program DLPORTIO, which resolved one issue. I have configured the LPT with the D010 address but it’s interesting that this setting is lost if I restart the program. I configured for Active Radio, Pin 14. I started up a contest and set for SO2R. DX Doubler in Auto. But, no radio switching.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Any thoughts?
