It seems no one has ever reported a problem like this using a K2 with Win-Test.<div><br></div><div>Are you using a USB-to-Serial adapter based on the Prolific chipset? Those adapters have been nothing but trouble for many users. They may work OK with some software, but not with Win-Test. Try another USB-to-Serial adapter such as one with an FTDI chipset, to see if you still have the same issue. </div>
<div><br></div><div>With some USB-to-Serial adapters, you may have to set DTR or RTS to "Always ON" to get them to work.
</div><div><br></div><div>If you are using a real serial port, not a USB-to-Serial adapter, make sure that in Win-Test Interface Configuration, the radio type is set to K2 Elecraft, "Don't poll" is <i>not</i> checked, polling rate is set to "Auto". Press the "Configure" button next to the port designated as Radio 1, then press the "Elecraft K2 default settings" button to reset all the COM port parameters to the proper defaults (4800,N,8,2 NO handshaking).</div>

although properly set, in the options menu, the qrg received from a Elecratf K2 TRX is updated erratically.<br>

Sometimes no qrg is displayed all, then again with 1/100 of the qrg, no second VFO, changes about every second.<br>

Anyone with same experience?<br>
