Hi Ville,<div><br></div><div>Just to be sure, type SYNC [Enter] in the logging window of both computers.</div><div><br></div><div>Check the DATE and TIME on both computers to make sure they are the same. Maybe one was set to local date and the other to Zulu date?</div>
<div><br></div><div>One and only one computer should have the <b>Enable Time Distribution Across the Network</b> box checked on the Contest Configuration Window.</div><div><br></div><div>If that does not help, please send me the .wt4 files from both computers (File | Explore | /log directory), and the wt.ini file from both computers (File | Explore | /cfg directory).</div>

<div>Hello Win-test gurus, please help !</div>
<div>We trust you!</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Our problem is complete lack of log synchronization. </div>
<div>It should be automatic in the new WT versions, unless disabled in "Options"</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Our set-up here at PS2T is as follows:</div>
<div>2 stations, both computers with Windows XP </div>
<div>Win-test 4.7.0 in both.</div>
<div>The stations are connected via Ethernet.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>We have worked several MS and M2 during the last 2 years </div>
<div>using EXACTLY the SAME computers, the SAME Win-tests, and the SAME Ethernet connection.</div>
<div>No previous problems so far.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>The new problem is as follows:</div>
<div> </div>
<div>The two stations connect normally, except that the logs do not synchronize at all.</div>
<div>
<div>- The "Disable log syncronization on network" is OFF, of course, we sure know how this feature works.</div></div>
<div>- The frequencies of the 2 stns pass normally both ways,</div>
<div>- The talk function Alt-G works fine,</div>
<div>- The cluster tips pass normally from stn1 to stn2.</div>
<div>- LOGGING A NEW QSO DOES NOT PASS FROM STN1 to STN2 and vice versa - WHY??</div>
<div> </div>
<div>The last contest we worked exactly with an identical setup was the IARU contest two months ago.</div>
<div>No problems of this kind were encountered.</div>
<div>If we now re-open this IARU log, all else works but no new Qs are passed either way.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>If we create a new MS or M2 log, all else works but no synchronization of logs occurs.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Tnx for help!</div>
