<div>My IARU Cabrillo file was rejected by the log robot (<a href="mailto:IARUHF@iaru.org" target="_blank">IARUHF@iaru.org</a>) with:</div><div><br></div><div><span style="border-collapse:collapse;color:rgb(51, 51, 51);font-family:arial, sans-serif;font-size:13px">***** Error Messages from the Contest Robot *****<br>
<br>[X] LOCATION: CA<br>'CA' is not valid. Please see the list of valid abbreviations at <a href="http://www.arrl.org/contest-sections-list" style="color:rgb(17, 85, 204)" target="_blank">http://www.arrl.org/contest-sections-list</a> -- DX stations use 'DX'.</span></div>
<div><br></div><div>For USA/Canada stations (only?), Win-Test 4.8 prompts you to enter your State/Province when creating the Cabrillo file. It should instead prompt you to enter your ARRL SECTION or "DX", not State/Province. For much of the country, they are the same, but some larger states are split into multiple ARRL sections.</div>
<div><br></div><div>I've opened <a href="http://flyspray.win-test.com/index.php?do=details&id=310" target="_blank">task #310</a> to track this. </div><div><br></div>
<div>Solution: </div><div><br></div><div>Do WRITELOG again, but at the Win-Test prompt for Sate/Province, enter your ARRL Section or DX. Win-Test will then put</div>
<div><br></div><div>ARRL-SECTION: (whatever you entered)</div><div><br></div><div>into the Cabrillo file. (The Cabrillo 2.0 ARRL-SECTION tag is automatically translated to the Cabrillo 3.0 LOCATION tag by the robot).</div>
<div><br></div><div>Finally, be sure to specify your callsign, and only your callsign, in the SUBJECT line of the email with the log that you send to the robot.</div><div><br></div><div>
