I am not able to set properly WT. I tried to do it by using omnirig and it seems to work (when I change band/frequency on WT or I click on a clusterspot it reacts correctly on the radio and viceversa), but I am not able to TX from WT (F1, F2 and so on do not work). A said, I have set Omnirig as transceiver in WT interface settings. Is there anybody who can help me to find out how to remote TX from WT? You can send CW via CI-V commands using the #ICOMPLAY examples in IcomScripts.zip, which you may download from https://bit.ly/wtscripts . This works with OmniRig or the native IC-705 support built-in to WT 4.38. Follow the IcomScripts.zip Readme file for instructions. There's a .smsg file you can load into the Win-Test messages dialog to set up examples of keying via CI-V command. But there are limitations compared to DTR keying (no callsign type-ahead feature). 73, Bob, N6TV On Wed, Jan 5, 2022 at 1:38 PM fabio.scherrer at bluewin.ch < fabio.scherrer at bluewin.ch> wrote: > Hello there and HNY to everyone > I am trying to setup a remote connection as follow: > TRX at remote place IC705, remote utility is win4icomsuite, WT as contest > logger, supposed also to transmit. I tried it with an Alpha 86 or 87A a little many years ago, but the band changes sent by Win-Test were not reliable, or the amp. would change bands back and forth unexpectedly, so I didn't use it again. As usual, use your login / password to access the download area. Tnx to Ben DL6RAI, Pablo EA4TX and Roberto IV3IYH for the translations. Please find below the release file --------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.40.0 (Jan 18, 2022) - New option in the world map window to mark locations from where you are spotted. Note: The diameter of the marker is supposed to represent the signal strength. However, disparities between reception conditions, equipment used, and/or the accuracy of the s-meters can lead to outliers. It is therefore must be considered only as a relative indication. - Bugfix : The RUN, MULT, RUN1, RUN2 text commands and their shortcuts Alt-Y and Ctrl-F3 (toggle) were not disabled in the Single-Op categories. Tnx F5NZY. - Interface dialog : The usable COM ports are now extended up to COM32. The parameters list now also displays the Handshake (HS), Always ON (ON) and Always OFF (OFF) settings, and are ordered by Pin (DTR then RTS). Tnx DL5XJ, DL6RAI. - New NCDXF/IBP Beacons window : Displays the transmission schedule of the NCDXF / IBP (International Beacons Project) beacons. A double click on a line gets the radio on the beacon freq. An "i" (stands for "info") in the status column indicates a comment you can read by hovering the mouse over it. Tnx VE3SUN. - LCR : Croatian CW contest LCR parser added. - LCR : Parser for CQ WW LCR updated. Works for preview and final reports. - New feature : You can now grab a spot from the visible spots in the Radio windows or in the DX-cluster window by entering the callsign (or some letters of it) and Ctrl-Space. - Bugfix : Automatic op-entered spots during QSOs (especially in S&P) were not replaced by DX-cluster / external spots. - Bufix : When sending a gab composed of CAPITAL letters, do not shake our own gab window. - REF HF and REF 160m : LCR process updated. Tnx F4CWN. - French (and some Belgian) users : Button added in the keys redefinitions dialog to load AZERTY redefinitions that allow the AZERTY keyboards users to access the numbers located on the top row without using the Shift or Shift Lock keys. They allow direct access to the ?, . and / keys of the bottom row as well. This button is displayed only when the language is set to French. --------------------------------------------------------------------- 73 Larry - F6FVY -- All of humanity's problems stem from man's inability to sit quietly in a room alone. Thank you very much about this. My wish for this year is a generally logging possibility for DARC District Contests. There are many, each with their own rules. Normally, each contest manager creates their own summary of the claimed logs. So, a summary calculation is not necessary, only the normal log output possibly with sum is zero. For short wave, copy / paste the ?DARC 10m Contest? and open it for all bands and modulations for the future. There are also activates on VHF/UHF on this District Contests. The same as the DARC 10m CT, but here is an additional entry field for Locator necessary. A Locator calculation would be fine for information. But here also, an end calculation is not necessary, only the output possibilities as cabrillo etc. formats. 73, Sigi DL8NAS From jjreisert at alum.mit.edu Mon Jan 24 03:04:19 2022 From: jjreisert at alum.mit.edu (Jim Reisert AD1C) Date: Sun, 23 Jan 2022 19:04:19 -0700 Subject: [WT-support] CTY-3203 Country Files - 24 January 2022 Message-ID: <20220124020432.6F8D6208007@mx.glou.fr> The Country (CTY) Files were updated on 24 January 2022: https://www.country-files.com/cty-3203-24-january-2022/ For installation instructions, start at: https://www.country-files.com/ Hover your mouse over the word Contest in the menu, then select the software you are using.
