That did not work properly, of course. Wintest opened and I created my log files (ADIF and Cabrillo) and closed the Programme. However, Wintest saved the QTC-file as ?dl1daw.wt4.qtc.wt4?. As a result there are no QTC in the Cabrillo LOG-file! I renamed the QTC- file to the correct name (I cancelled the extension .wt4) and opened the programme with the correct file ?dl1daw.wt4?. Wintest opened but closed immediately ? no chance to recover..? Can you help me and make all my files workable? I would highly appreciate any help!!! vy 73 es 55 Achim, DL1DAW Web: https://www.bgkweb.de/ Gesendet von Mail f?r Windows 10 -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Win-Test does not support the Icom internal RTTY decoder. One USB cable from the IC-7610 to the PC provides everything you need to operate RTTY with Win-Test: 1. USB Audio CODEC (sound card) for MMTTY received audio decoding 2. A virtual serial port for rig control by Win-Test 3. A second virtual serial port for MMTTY FSK and PTT keying via virtual DTR and RTS pins. MMTTY may be downloaded from https://hamsoft.ca/pages/mmtty.php . Please install it. Then in Win-Test, select *Options | RTTY Configuration* to set the path to MMTTY.EXE. Please review these presentations linked from my QRZ.COM page and repeated below: - Everything You Need to Know About USB and Serial Interfaces , updated for 2021 - Everything You Need to Know About USB and Serial Interfaces , presented at 2020 Dayton CTU via Zoom - Watch YouTube recording of this presentation here . In particular see: - *Slide 57* (IC-7610 menu setup) - *Slides 67-71* (MMTTY setup) Not shown: the *SoundCard* tab in MMTTY. Select the IC-7610 *USB Audio CODEC* there. Finally, select *Windows | RTTY (Radio 1)* from the Win-Test menu. If you can't get it to work, please install TeamViewer ( https://TeamViewer.us), contact me off list, I will help you. FYI, the same method works with the Elecraft K4 and other rigs with a USB connector. See this document on the Elecraft K4 Manuals page for another example. 73, Bob, N6TV On Mon, Sep 20, 2021, 2:56 AM Stephen Emlyn-Jones wrote: > I a trying to work out how to configure Win-test to interface with the > IC-7610 for the CQ WW RTTY contest. > The Icom has of course its own RTTY decode engine. > Can anyone advise how to do this. > Thanks. > Steve > GW4BKG > _______________________________________________ > Support mailing list > support at win-test.com > http://lists.f5mzn.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/support > > -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
