Hi,

In CW contest using RBN and Spot Quality Tags one can either use skim valid filter and have only V spots or have all the RBN spots. It is desirable often not to limit it to V spots as in that case spots on several good DX mults might not come in as do not get verified or might come in too late.

Then again without skim valid filter band map will be full of rubbish which slows down the S&P ops and increases error rate.

Also, when Announced DX window displays the comment and quality tag, Band Map does not have such option unless bringing cursor on the spot.

It would be ideal to be able to Sort AND Filter Band Map and Announced DX Window by the Spot quality tag. And additionally also to be able to display the Quality tag in Band Map.

Those options would be a HUGE improvement for any CW contest.

The current dev/nightly version (build #861) can display the spot 
quality tag in the DX cluster and Radio windows (each setting is 
independent). You can also filter what is displayed in these windows on 
the spot quality (each setting is independent).

I'm not sure yet on sorting what second (and maybe third) sort criteria 
to use ? Maybe Q tag / Mult type / Heading ?

WOW! Displaying and filtering works fabulously! 

When sorting for quality tag I think indeed it is needed to give the regular option of sorting as the next choice (operator might need time, frequency, heading, etc depending on the situation). 2 levels should be perfect in most situations. However you find it more comfortable to program I guess:)

Done in build #862.

For convenience, you can optionally ignore the spot quality as well when 
sorting.

virtual com port for FT5K = com7
virtuals com ports SCU-17 = 4 and 5
when set correct DTR and RTS into com7 to play CW messages (it work) but? lost audio playback when switch SSB
when back to handshake position into COM7 DTR RTS audio playback work again by SCU-17 with some COM4 and 5 settings but... lost CW messages (of course)
win-test able to work cat commands as? {CAT1ASC PB0#;} to play memories with Shift-F#
what i'm wrong ?
Any experiencies are welcome

Use https://www.kkn.net/~n6tv/wtscripts/YaesuScripts.zip for voice memory
playback (PB command scripts).

DTR CW keying is not supported by the SCU-17.  It doesn't connect to the
FTdx5000 KEY jack.

I can provide an S-BOX-USB to FTdx5000 owners that need DTR CW and rig
control via one USB cable.  Works great.  SCU-17 is designed for DATA modes.

In behalf of my first message? ins't not my home station but guest club where next ARRL 10M will planned all over for the first time. All stuff configuration are unsettled on this time but for sure some strange conflicts disturb normal work when we try to set the station into contest mode. In anyway thanks Bob for voice memory playback scripts and your S-BOX USB to share comports for all accessories plugged (or not) into FTDX 5K serial comport. Agree with all that SCU-17 is designed? for DATA modes but not for CW.

- Op-entered spots are kept until worked or deleted on purpose, even

- Radio wnd : List tab : When spots are sorted by points or mult type,
   the second sorting criteria is now the beam heading rather than

   crashes under some circumstances with badly-formatted or corrupted

software and com0com.  CW Skimmer should track Win-Test band changes OK

It seems that the v.4.39.0 release has fixed the problem (random) of resetting the WinKey speed when the +/- characters are added to the message.

   can now be displayed if they're sent by the skimmer. You can also
   filter the displayed spots by tag when applicable.

   window, the displayed spots are grouped by quality before being

- Script Manager : Hyperlink to the Lua API reference web page added.

- Op-entered spots are kept until worked or deleted on purpose, even

   the second sorting criteria is now the beam heading rather than

   crashes under some circumstances with badly-formatted or corrupted

For first time ever strange happening from my home windows 7proX64 computer used from long time ago for third post contest part (out of radio shack). Problem that cropped up only when contest file where loaded or try to create new contest. After some check in google.com about Microsoft visual C++ runtime library crashes and upgrade these libraries without effect.? Try to uninstall and reload wt nor more success.
