Dear Bob,

thank you very much for your fast answer, very much appreciated, especially that you answered at night in California.

I strictly followed your hints in the first section of your answer but w/o success. (No big surprise because I tested this already several times).

The second hint however worked very well. OmiRig with IC9100v2 does work! Happy OM.

Yes, I was running the latest version of Win-Test and IC-9100 firmware (version E3).

So, no TeamViewer session needed. Again, big THANK YOU for your great help.

NB: Maybe, this info helps the Win-Test development team to figure out why OmniRig works but not the direct control.

What happens if you set the CI-V address back to the Icom default (7C) and select radio type IC-9100 in Win-Test, and set radio type to IC-9100 with the default Icom address 7C in the microHAM Router software? Set CI-V Transceive ON in the radio menu and select "Use CI-V Transceive" in Win-Test. In the radio menu, set CI-V Baud Rate to 19200. Do not use AUTO. Set Baud rate to 19200 in the microHAM Router and in Win-Test, NO Handshake.

Does the Router display the radio's frequency OK? Does Win-Test?

If you can't get it to work, try setting Radio type to OmniRig and select IC-9100v2 (not IC-9100) in OmniRig.

Are you running the latest version of Win-Test and the IC-9100 firmware?

If you can't figure it out, install TeamViewer and I'll try to help you make it work remotely. But first set the radio menus as described above.

73,

Bob, N6TV

Hello,

I got some problems to control my IC9100. I did not found any configuration which worked OK to control my IC9100 with Win-Test.

Currently, I am using a workaround by selecting IC7800 (instead of IC9100) and changing the CI-V address of the transceiver from IC9100 default to IC7800 address. This workaround however does provide very limited functionality only and is not convenient at all (no sub band, mode change…).

My setup is:

IC9100

MicroHAM Microkeyer II (firmware v6.21)

MicroHAM USB Device Router version 9.3.4

The setup works well with multiple other programs including WSJT, i.e. with IC9100 default settings but not with Win-Test for unknown reasons.

If someone does run IC9100 with Win-Test successfully or has any idea or hint, any help would be highly appreciated.
