[WT-support] McAfee anti virus deleting WT file seen as a virus

Hi I am having a problem with installing Win-Test on my W10 PC, running
McAfee Total Protection. I turned off the firewall yesterday to get WT
installed and that worked. But now I was trying to set it up and I got a
message from the Anti-virus saying "we have just deleted a virus for you,
now you are safe to continue"! Of course whatever was deleted was
fundamental to running WT so It no longer works. How can I get around this.

 

I have looked on the McAfee web site to find a means of setting an exception
for WT but that was not very helpful, to say the least.
