[WT-support] R: MicroHam u2R - Micro 2 R - SSB Latch mode

Thank you Bob !

Yes, footswitch is connected to the u2R rear panel.

May be I'm missing something.

There is no chance to make the latch mode works toggle on/off even in TX by footswitch.

Isn't it ?

If I understand, latch mode enabled by front panel button works only when transmitting by computer.

Changing the audio tab settings makes always swapping RX audio when footswitch is pressed regardless of the latch button position, this is not my goal.

Audio tab on router 9.2.5 is different from the online u2R manual, an update of microHAM manual should help.

In next days I try to make a YouTube video on settings and devices behaviors, watching worth much more than 1000 words.

Ciao

Manuel

Everything working except for the SSB when operated by the footswitch in "latch mode".

The problems come when transmitting by pressing the footswitch.

Same scenario : Radio 1 selected, Latch enabled.

Pressing footswitch RX audio stay on Radio 1,

when releasing the footswitch RX audio jumps for some milliseconds to Radio 2

and then switch back to Radio 1.

Assuming your footswitch is connected through the micro2R (u2R), the behavior of the RX Audio when you close the footswitch is completely controlled by the microHAM Router software, on the Audio tab, not by Win-Test.

The lines labeled "Manual TX on R1" and "Manual TX on R2" on the Audio tab of the Router software controls what happens to the headphones when you press the footswitch, regardless of the position of the Latch button.

So, if you want to listen to R2 when R1 transmits by footswitch, you have to indicate that by selecting the button under R2. It should look the opposite of the example shown on page 28 of the micro2R manual, that is, those two "Manual TX" lines should look the same as the two lines above it labeled "Computer TX on R1 (Latch)" and "Computer TX on R2 (Latch).

Please try that.
