If you're connected to the RBN thru an AR-cluster, you can reduce (a 
bit) the data volume by applying a filter.

On a daily basis, I usually use, for CW only :

Set dx filter not skimdupe and skimvalid and comment<>*FT8* and 
comment<>*NCDXF* and comment<>*BEACON* and comment<>*RTTY*
