The best way to do this is to set the field labeled "Exchange (zone, ...):"
in the upper right corner of the Contest Configuration screen to "A4"
(without the quotes), then program all the relevant CW messages to use $RST
$ZONE. Win-Test will substitute whatever you put in the exchange field for
the $ZONE variable (and it completely ignores the "WAZ zone" box, which is
numeric only, no letters allowed).
After the contest, before you create your Cabrillo file, change the
Exchange field back to "14", then create your Cabrillo file. Otherwise
"599 A4" will appear as the sent exchange in the Cabrillo file, and it will
probably be rejected.
It would be nice if Win-Test would automatically use the values in the WAZ
or ITU Zone fields in the Contest Configuration screen for creating the
Cabrillo file, for appropriate CQ and IARU contests, instead of using the
value in the Exchange field, but in the mean time, the manual workaround
described above is pretty easy, as long as you remember to do it.
