You probably have an extra "+" in your CQ message. Make sure you have the
same number of + as - in your CQ macro, or forego the speed changes
altogether.

The consensus from the RBN team is that speed changes in your CW macros
results in you being spotted less than you might be otherwise by the
Skimmers.
